Executive Summary

Iconergy staff have commissioned and retro-commissioned approximately 1,000,000 square feet of new and renovated space for the University of Wyoming since 2010. Projects include high-performance teaching and research laboratories with fast-acting air valves, pressure cascades, redundant HVAC systems, and backup power; as well as athletics and cultural facilities and campus utility infrastructure such as a satellite plant and large chilled water storage capacity. Iconergy’s support spans design, construction, acceptance, and warranty phases, with a focus on delivering buildings that perform as intended and are maintainable for UW operations staff.

  • War Memorial Stadium West Renovation – 297,600 SF, $85M, fan-experience upgrades and premium spaces; commissioning in progress (2024–2026).
  • Engineering Education & Research Building – 113,000 SF, $105M teaching and research laboratory; LEED v3 Fundamental + Enhanced commissioning (2019).
  • Science Initiative – 153,000 SF, $103M research facility with vivarium and greenhouse; comprehensive commissioning (completed 2022).
  • Biological Sciences Building Mechanical Renovation – 160,000 SF, $7.5M lab retrofit with CRC air valves; integrated functional testing and systems manual (2014).
  • Michael B. Enzi STEM Facility – 107,000 SF, $38M; lab air handlers, Phoenix air valves, snowmelt, RO/DI, envelope commissioning (2015).
  • High Bay Research Facility – 90,000 SF, $54M; desiccant dehumidification, parallel generators/UPS, envelope commissioning (2016).
  • Energy Innovation Center – 57,000 SF, $19M; commissioning, LEED certification, and M&V (2013).
  • Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts – 177,000 SF renovation/addition; commissioning for mechanical, emergency power, theater lighting, RO, and fire alarm; LEED O+M Silver (2015).
  • High-Altitude Performance Center – 71,000 SF addition + 47,000 SF renovation; HVAC commissioning with pool dehumidification and envelope commissioning.

  • LEED Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning (CxA)
