Executive Summary
Iconergy staff have provided a range of services for St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) including bond planning support, design and energy engineering, commissioning (Cx), and retro-commissioning (RCx). SVVSD contracted Iconergy to help shape bond initiatives and guide retrofit and new construction projects to improve operational performance, occupant comfort, and energy efficiency. Representative projects include commissioning of a major mechanical and controls retrofit at Sanborn Elementary School as well as commissioning and retro-commissioning services for the addition and renovation at Silver Creek High School.
Representative SVVSD Projects
- Sanborn Elementary School – Longmont, CO
- Sanborn Elementary School is a 49,000 SF elementary school that underwent a complete mechanical and controls retrofit during summer 2014. Iconergy commissioned all new mechanical systems and verified proper operation of the new BAS. Systems included rooftop units (RTUs), VAVs, boiler plant, chiller plant, and baseboard radiators.
- Silver Creek High School – Thornton, CO
Iconergy commissioned a laboratory addition and renovation project and performed a baseline HVAC review. Commissioned systems included BAS, TAB validation, gas/DX rooftop units, single-zone rooftop units, VAV terminal boxes, exhaust fans, fan coil units, reheat coils, unit heaters, and automated lighting controls. Iconergy also performed retro-commissioning for existing constant-volume RTUs, kitchen makeup air unit, reheat coils, and the hot water plant.
