Iconergy provided comprehensive commissioning services for the Richardson Hall renovation and addition project at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. Services began during design and continued through construction, acceptance, and the warranty period. The project achieved LEED BD+C New Construction v3 (LEED 2009) Silver certification.

Commissioning Scope and Process Overview

The commissioning scope included HVAC systems, building automation systems, electrical systems associated with mechanical equipment, lighting controls, and domestic hot water systems. The commissioning process followed ASHRAE and USGBC LEED 2009 guidelines, with a structured approach including design reviews, construction observations, pre-functional checklists, functional performance testing, issue tracking, and training verification.
