Executive Summary

Iconergy’s relationship with Poudre School District began in 2002, when Iconergy staff commissioned Fossil Ridge High School—recognized as the first LEED-certified high school in the United States. Since then, Iconergy has supported the District through a portfolio of high-performance new construction and major renovation projects, including recurring bond-funded modernizations. Between 2012 and 2016, Iconergy provided commissioning, retro-commissioning, and/or energy modeling services for one to four major renovation projects annually, focused on modernizing aging mechanical and control systems and improving energy performance while meeting district budgets and schedules.

Representative Projects

  • Poudre High School Major Renovations – 262,000 SF, $6M, phased over 2012–2013; energy assessment, energy modeling, and commissioning
  • Preston Middle School Major Renovation – 129,000 SF, $11M, completed 2015; energy modeling and commissioning; BEST grant + local bond funded
