Overview

Our team performed an Investment Grade Audit (IGA), a Level III whole-building audit, which led to a scope of work to be performed by an Energy Performance Contract (EPC) for 16 County-owned buildings.

Solutions

We installed significant upgrades for 16 county-owned buildings that included: New HVAC systems in most buildings, county-wide lighting upgrades, county-wide controls and BAS system design and installation, building mounted solar PV on four buildings (a first for the County), improved ventilation that met or exceeded code where the County was falling short, weatherization of buildings, and various other energy and water saving measures that were made to be compatible with the County’s existing equipment and systems.

Results

This project has achieved $66,695 in verified annual savings. The County realized major reductions in utility use, minimized unplanned repair costs, improved comfort and controllability, and expanded renewable energy capacity.
