Retro-commissioning services were performed for the 116,000 existing science building and commissioning services were performed for the 197,227 square feet of new construction. The science buildings house teaching and research spaces for biology, anthropology, chemistry, earth sciences, and math and computer sciences. The renovation project achieved LEED BD+C: New Construction v2 – LEED 2.2 Gold certification and the new building achieved LEED BD+C: New Construction v2 – LEED 2.2 Gold certification.
